I get bored easily. Bored of my clothes, my hair, my routine...so I'm always switching it up. This also causes me to constantly rearranging my furniture because I feel a need to keep my living space fresh. Our environment plays a huge role in our happiness so I love adding new interiors. I was incredibly excited when I was introduced to Nestify, a monthly subscription box for your home. This month’s theme was dedicated to a springtime garden and what a lovely surprise it was to receive it in the mail!
Nestify was creasted by Estie, a Los Angles based Interior Designer. She begins the sourcing process by formulating a theme that is appropriate for the time of the year and looks for local small businesses and artisans that have unique and well-crafted items. She asks herself, 'Is this something that brings me joy? Would I be excited to receive this?' If the answer is yes, it's a go! She also looks for globally authentic and unique goods. Helping create sustainable and ethical trade, as well as showcasing small businesses (therefore discovering hidden gems!) is a huge source of motivation for her. Estie's ultimate goal is 'to create a curated, cultivated home for people who might otherwise not have access, time, or opportunity to. And of course it's fun to get a surprise In the mail each month!'

She included a card describing her inspiration for this month's theme, as well as crediting where the items were made, like the adorable mushroom ladybug wine stopper designed by Carolyn Kopecky, an artisan in Minneapolis. A really special highlight is that the serving utensils, hand carved out of mango wood by the Kamba Tribe in Kenya, and the door pompom, made in Morocco, both provide economic sustainability for their villagers.
